Speculative Design Campaign & Showcase

I created the speculative brand and product 'Solace' for my Design and Visual Communication II class. The assignment aimed to develop a speculatively designed product contributing to a 'healthier city.' Focusing on mental health, I conceived sensory deprivation pods strategically placed in public areas. These 'Solace' pods act as recombobulation spaces, providing relief for city-goers dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression. The pods offer a rare opportunity for rest, relaxation, and relief, featuring customizable scenery and essential oil scents for a natural and calming experience. My responsibilities included crafting brand guidelines, a logo, the product itself, infographic posters, and translating them into a physical exhibition space. I utilized InDesign, Illustrator, and Procreate for the project, which was showcased in the 2022 DVC Entrepreneurship Showcase.
